Problem Statement:
Organizations moving to the cloud face risks like misconfigured resources, unprotected endpoints, and unauthorized access.

Solution:
By building a secure cloud infrastructure using Azure, focusing on:

1. Virtual Networks (VNet) with firewalls and NSGs (Network Security Groups).
2. Simulated attacks (e.g., brute force) to test security policies.
3. Monitoring with Azure Security Center and Azure Monitor.

  I was able to solve this problem

• Cloud Security: Azure fundamentals, firewalls, NSGs.
• Incident Simulation: Threat analysis and mitigation.
• Documentation: Cloud architecture diagrams and configuration guides.

A. Virtual Network Setup

• Created a Virtual Network with multiple subnets.
• Configured NSGs to block unauthorized IPs.

B. Simulated Security Threats

• Tested for common vulnerabilities like: 
  • Open ports.
  • Brute force login attempts on VMs.

C. Monitor & Respond

• Enabled Azure Security Center and Azure Monitor.
• Generated security alerts and recommendations.

• Setup and Configuration Guide.
• Incident Report: Threats detected, actions taken, and lessons      learned
